The layout in May 2004. It was still On30. If you build a layout get a digital camera and take pictures. The layout at this point was truly dreadful. At the time it looked good, but looking at the pictures, it wasn't. This layout is my first attempt at scenery. I had always been an operations buff. The layout was designed to be operated as a narrow gauge railroad. I have switched to modeling the 1870's in OO scale running on HO track,OO/HO. Some of the elements in the track design need to be changed but it is still a good track design.
