The BLI C-16 can be made into a good runner. One of the major flaws is the awful tender. The tender shell from a On30 Bachmann 2-8-0 will fit with minimum grinding on the tender frame. They are available from Bachmann.
The old Quantum sound unit will require modification to the tender body to clear the capacitors. The new Blueline sound units are smaller and will fit without mods.
